I think strong arguments could be made that ecology is essentially the study of non-human economics.

Well I suppose we could rename the entire field of "Economics" to be "Human Economics" since it focuses almost entirely on humans. But that would be pretty silly until there is a lot more study of non-human economics.

Tim,Good point, their nomenclature choices and acronyms seem a bit obscurantist.I guess it already is called behavioral game theory in some academic circles.

Shouldn't these ideas be referred to as "human game theory" - or something like that?

It would be nice to distingush theories about how humans actually play games from theories about how best to play games.
