Last week I talked on interstellar colonization at a NYC design school. Coincidentally, just before I taped a short interview on the same subject for the Are We Alone? radio show. I start about minute 33, and go for about six minutes.
I expected cosmic trash was going to be similar to trailer trash in space. Turns out it's literal trash, like Voyager and the plot-line to Star Trek I. Only this premise is not supported at all clearly. I'm a sucker for the A/V so I tuned in, but I'd recommend skipping this one.
